Posts: 630 Group: Member Member #13,968 Joined: July 23, 2017 Gender Other	I guess what I've been trying to emphasize is if Goku would ever accept and be suited for this position if he believed it was the best way to protect his beloved ones, while it allowed him access to more strength and worthy opponents..? With the mention that he would also bring a noticeable reform and a new meaning to this title, using his destructive power to clean out bad guys instead of randomly destroying a whole planet just because he found a hair in his soup. (this would be the other theory besides the 'power intoxication' one) Other candidates. Frieza? They'd all be f***ed. Let's face it. Vegeta? He wouldn't even go for training when Bulma was pregnant. What makes us believe he'd definitively abandon his family for something that huge? He's not power thirsty like Goku. He was pretty reformed himself, too. Piccolo? Again, what makes us believe he'd leave his place as Gohan's maid...ok, jokes aside, as fitting as he may seem, he was kicked behind Saiyans a while ago. Why select as the most powerful god of an universe, someone who'd be easily beaten by Goku, Vegeta or even Gohan at a hide'n'seek game?

He'd need to grow and change as a character dramatically I think. Freeza would abuse his position. Vegeta and Piccolo may do it reluctantly if they have no choice and to protect their loved ones/the universe at large. They'd become a necessary power but I think it'd make them sad.

He'd know the benefits and want to get stronger to overtake someone like Zeno.
